On a Rainy Day

I dare you to pick up that worm

Don’t drop it! It’s wet and squirming.
And now I double dare you to
Raise it to your mouth. Yes!
Even with the wet dirt still clinging to it.

You can’t refuse the triple dare!
Open your mouth wide … yep, like that, and
Unflinching, drop the wriggling worm down your throat. Ewww, that was gross!
