Purity Isn't Popular

In today’s society, purity is seen as childish. Old-fashioned.

(And I'm not just talking about sexual purity here.)

When it came to movies, TV, and even the books I read, I rationalized, "It's no big deal. There's plenty of worse stuff out there!" But then I was deeply convicted by Ephesians 5:1-4. Sadly, for many Christian believers today, purity in all areas of our lives seems to have been reduced to something optional. And it shouldn't be.

So, I did something rather drastic; a decision I knew people would find strange … and probably make me the recipient of even more comments like, “You’re too easily offended, Laurel” or “You’re so sheltered.”

But I just had to do it. My hope is that as I share my choices with you below, it encourages you to be intentional about living a life of purity before God.
